CQC Vetting

CQC Screening Checks have been in force since April 2010.  All NHS providers (whether NHS organisations or private providers) are legally required to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Companies registered with the CQC Screening Checks are required to comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009.

NHS providers are legally bound to ensure these Screening Checks and NHS Checks have been performed for all staff working within the NHS sector.  These checks are quite complex but we can ensure that all your CQC Screening Checks are fully compliant to all Regulations.

NHS providers should provide evidence of compliance with the NHS Employment Check Standards as part of the CQC’s annual regulatory framework.
